The Science of Meditation is the urgent need, the most urgent need of the Age!

For too long the Mother Earth has seen dark ages. Now the Mother Earth, the planet Earth is re-emerging into light.

The Whole Earth is entering into a new Photon Band! It is a Galactic Phenomenon!

The Whole Humanity is going through a Mutation, a Spiritual Mutation! It is a quantum leap in evolution, a quantum change in human consciousness, truly heralded by the Science of Meditation!

My dear Friends! My dear Masters! And My dear Gods of India, and the whole World! The Earth has so far for lakhs of years experienced a Dark Age because of the collective intimidating force of some of the Extraterrestrial Negative Beings. But now that intimidating force from the far extraterrestrial sources acting on the Earth has ceased!

It has been stopped by the Managers of the cosmos! There is no more any dark intimidating force acting on the Earth.

Now only Light Forces are acting on the Earth from the Extraterrestrial Sources heralding a new Golden Age on Mother Earth.

Gautama Buddha lived in the Dark Age; Jesus Christ lived in the Dark Age; however, we are living a Golden Light Age! There is a great Spiritual Revolution on, presently, on this Mother Earth. My dear Friends! The time has come for all of us to become a Meditator. The time has come for making Meditation a regular activity in our day-to day lives.

Meditation is a must. Right from our child-hood we have to become Meditators. As a child we need to be a Meditator-Child. As a youth we have to be a Meditator-Youth. As a family we have to be a Meditator-Family. So, for every person, the time has come to understand in totality, The Science of Meditation.

What is Meditation? Meditation is simply emptying our mind; it is, simply, silencing the mind. We all know... very well... what mind is! The Mind is the sum total of all our thoughts. The Mind is the sum total of all our zig-zag thoughts... the hundreds and thousands of thoughts crisscrossing, forming a great jungle out there... that is the average mind.

Whenever we 'decide' to do something, the very next second we create a hundred reasons why we should not do that! Again a thousand reasons why we should do that, again one lakh reasons why we should not do that! This is the Mind, a Stupid Mind.

A Stupid Mind, a jungle-mind, a whirlpool mind, a cyclonic mind is the lot of every person who does not meditate. That jungle mind creates problems for that person. When you have a jungle mind, you lose a lot of energy, you get so much depleted.

Every thought is Energy!

We need to have right thoughts. The wrong thoughts, the useless thoughts, incessant thoughts, they have to be totally ejected out of our system. Since every thought is energy, a wrong thought, a wasteful thought means, literally, so much energy lost.

In an average man, for every one single right thought there are a hundred to thousand wrong thoughts. Hence, he loses a tremendous amount of energy. And, then, when the whole body is depleted of energy, the body is liable for attack from outside.

The Physical Body is an Energy Ball. The Mind is the source of energy for this Energy Ball, called as the 'Physical Body'!

If a given mind is incessantly wasting its own energy, the physical body naturally becomes greatly depleted of energy. As a result, the body is attacked by various Bacteria and Viruses and the net result is a diseased body.

The cause of disease in the body is ever the mind losing its energy. A haphazard mind, a jungle like mind is the actual source of all disease.

My dear Friends! Meditation means silencing our jungle mind! There should be no zig zag thoughts in the mind whatsoever, that is Meditation!

If there are no words in the mouth, then, it is called as Silence or Mouna. Similarly, if there are no thoughts in the mind, then, it is called Meditation or Dhyana.

Dhyana or Meditation actually means no thoughts in the mind. In every given twenty four hour period, it is imperative for every person to ear mark two, or three, or four hours for deep Meditation! Just as every person is ear marking so much time for sleep, every person needs to allocate so much for sleep, every person needs to allocate so much time for Meditation.

What is sleep? And what is Meditation?

Sleep is an out-of-body experience and Meditation is also an out-of-body experience.

Sleep is a Gift of Nature to our physical body! Meditation, however, is a Gift we give to our own physical body! Meditation offsets, to a large extent, the need for sleep.

A normal person, who sleeps six hours or eight hours a day needs to cut that into exactly half the period. Actually a person needs to sleep only for a couple of hours, or a maximum of four hours. And the rest of the time should be spent in Meditation. Eight hours of our sleep must be divided into four hours of Sleep, and four hours of Meditation. That is the right mix of things.

Sleep is not just rest for the body. Sleep is energizing the body as well. Sleep is freshening the mind too. Meditation is great rest for the physical body. Meditation also is freshening the mind. However, most importantly, Meditation means activating our Third Eye!

What happens when we sleep? Sleep gives us freshness of mind. As we wake up in the morning, we find that our physical body is highly energized.

However, we are not just the Physical Body! We are a seven bodied system - a Physical Body, an Etheric Body, an Astral Body, a Causal Body, a Spiritual Body, a Cosmic body and a Nirvanic Body.

What exactly happens in Sleep ?

During our sleep, our Astral Body gets out of the Physical Body, the Etheric Body... which is the Energy-Template Body for the Physical Body... freely takes in energy from the surrounding cosmos and becomes energized.

Etheric Body feeds the Physical Body!

Etheric body, the Template, is the source of the energy for the physical form, the physical frame, the physical body.

When a stupid Astral body is there... when a stupid Mental body is there in the Physical body, the Physical body loses lots and lots of energy. When a Stupid mind is present, the Etheric body's energy becomes critically insufficient for the vitality of the Physical body. However, when there is a sane Mental body, when there is a sane Astral body, the Etheric body... without the interference of the Astral body is free to expand itself and take in as much of energy... cosmic energy... as possible, which energies and freshens the physical system, The Physical body.

We need to understand what Sleep is! We need to understand what Meditation is!

Meditation is a million times more powerful than Sleep. If sleep gives us a certain amount of energy, Meditation gives us a million times more energy! That is why, half an hour of Meditation does away with all the hours of sleep!

Sleep is absolutely imperative! Sleep is a must! People can exist without eating for forty days, but not without sleep.

However, the factual point is that, we don't need to spend so much time in sleep everyday. Long hours of sleep are a truly wasteful use of our resources.

Meditational Energy should, ever, be the main source of vitality for the Physical Body.

Meditational Energy should, ever, be the main source of freshness of Mind and sharpness of the Intellect.

In addition, and most importantly, in Meditaion we all have conscious out-of-body experiences.

In Meditation, our out-of-body experiences are so much more conscious!We interact with various entities in the whole Cosmos. We travel to various locales in the infinite Cosmos. We travel to various realities consciously; we grasp Knowledge, we grasp Wisdom and then we bring back the Wisdom. As a result, our Terrestrial Intellect becomes absolutely sharp; that's when we become a Buddha! That's when we become a Jesus Christ!

We must understand the Truth, that, we are not just the Physical Bodies. We have to understand that we are Gods. This is the most magnificent statement of fact.

Meditation means sincere efforts put in silencing the mind.

Meditation is the greatest gift from our self to our own life. We can give so much to our own selves. However, we stupidly look to some other external God, some other Krishna, some other Jesus Christ. We ask, “Oh Lord! Give us this! Give us that!” It’s all a laughable thing; it’s a ridiculous thing. We have to give so much to our own selves through Meditation.

Throughout past lakhs of years, the Earth has lost The Science of Meditation. However, now, it’s back in right earnest.

A common man or a normal man plus Meditation is a Divine Man.

We need to deify our own selves through spending as much time as possible in Meditation. We have to be in Meditation everyday, a couple of hours certainly, every given twenty four hours.

How do we silence our Minds ? Do we chant any Mantra ?

No! Just the Breath!

We don't open our mouths. We close our mouths. We close our eyes. We are with the Breath, the natural, normal breathing.

We sit quietly for one hour or two hours. We are Deep into Meditation. We are deep into a thought-free zone of the mind. Oh! What a wonderful thing Meditation is! It has to be experienced. It has to be lived.

My dear Friends! Meditation is the easiest thing in the World! It is simply sitting! It is called zazen. In Japanese, zazen means just sitting, not doing anything, not thinking.

However, it should be understood that Meditation means just sitting plus placing attention on the Breath.

The mind automatically becomes empty when we are with the Breath. The Breath is the great catalyst. It is the great Guru. In the Science of Meditation, the Breath is the Guru. We have to sit at the feet of the Guru.

The Science of Meditation is the Most Fundamental Science.

Firstly, we have to understand that we are all Gods. What are we? We are Gods!

We are not just this physical matter; we are not just the physical forms, which we see in the mirror. We are made of four verities... matter, energy, thought and consciousness.

Consciousness is the fundamental verity! Thought is a function of Consciousness! Energy is the product of Thought! And, finally, Matter is the crystallization of Energy! In Meditation we evolve to the level of consciousness,… to the level of pure consciousness… sans thoughts, sans any mind-waves.

Meditation means losing our body-consciousness, to a smaller or greater extent. Meditation means losing our mind -consciousness totally. Meditation means losing our intellect-consciousness totally!... Meditation means dwelling happily in our soul consciousness,… which is the purity of original consciousness itself.

When we are in the body, we are stuck up living with a Body-Mind. If we are born in a Hindu Society we are stuck up with a Hindu Mind. If we are born in a Islamic Society , we are stuck up with a Islamic Mind! If we are born in a Communist Society, we are stuck up with a Communist Mind!

The sum total of all our previous life-times experiences,… in terms of wisdom,… that is called as Intellect Consciousness.

Meditation means to transcend our

1. body - consciousness,
2.mind-consciousness,
3 .intellect-consciousness… … and to stay put in the purity of Original Consciousness itself! That is Meditation!

When we come back from The Silence of Meditation… back into our day to day body-mind life,… our intellect-consciousness becomes that much more sharper! That much more wiser also! Our mental consciousness … that is our mind-consciousness… becomes so much more peaceful, so much more collected! The body consciousness becomes so much more energetic!

From time to time we have to go into The Silence of Meditation, into the state of Pure Consciousness… sans anything in the mind, sans any issue in the mind.

We have to come out of our verbal-level activity, our mind-level activity, and our intellect-level activity, into pure consciousness… that is Meditation.

Our Physical Body has been given by our Parents. The Mind has been given by the Society. The Mind has been structured by the rules of the Society.

The Intellect is the product of our previous existences in our previous life-times. This is not for the first time, that we are here, in a physical body! This is our, nth life-time. The sum total of our Series of Lives Wisdom is called Intellect.

The Soul takes on a number of Incarnations,… on an average it takes about three hundred to four hundred incarnations.

The Soul is the Entity. The soul is a speck of pure consciousness, out to have series of bouts of experiences on the Earth Plane, in the Human Cycle.

How do we understand that we are not just the physical bodies? How do we understand that we have got a number of lifetimes behind us and in front of us? How do we know all these things? How did Jesus Christ know these things? How did Lord Buddha come to know of these things?

They all have come to know because they have done Meditation! Because they have become Masters of Meditation! Because they have silenced their Minds! Because they have learnt to dwell in Pure Consciousness! Because they have learnt to come out... of… body-consciousness, mind consciousness and intellect-consciousness… from time to time!

They have done Great Meditation and they have become Great Lights of the World!

Jesus Christ is a Great Light of the World. Buddha is a Great Light of the World. Krishna is a Delight of the World. My Dear Friends! Similarly,… we too have to become … Lights and Delights of the World!

Delight comes from Light!

What is peace that passeth understanding ? Peace… as we know… is when we have money in our pocket; normally, only money and health mean peace of mind! When we have a wife and two kids we have nice feeling! But what about peace that passeth understanding ?... That is obtained only through Meditation!

When we are in Meditation, we are one with the Whole Creation! We are one with the Totality of the Creator-Hood!

In Sleep we are merely out of our physical bodies; but in Meditation we are one with the whole creation! Sleep is a very very distant cousin of Meditation.

Meditation is The Prime Purpose of our Life!

We have given so much importance to Sleep and we have totally forgotten Meditation! However, presently time has come for the Whole Humanity to be as aware of The Science of Meditation, as of Sleep. Time has come for the Whole Humanity to be aware of the urgent need for Meditation. We must make it a daily part of our routine life! Just as we go into Sleep regularly, we have to go into Meditation, too, regularly.

The more we do Meditation the less we require Sleep ! The more we Meditate… the less we require food. More food for the consciousness means less food requirement for the body.

My Dear Friends! Only after Meditation do we understand the Greatness of the Physical Body, and the Magnificence of Physical Life!

Before we enter into The Field of Meditation, we tend to discount the Greatness of Physical Body, or the Magnificence of Physical Life. Small Mishap… and we throw away our Physical Bodies! We commit suicides! What a blot on human consciousness! No animal ever commits suicides! Only humans commit suicides! Animal World is a magnificent world. All animals live in pure consciousness!

My dear Friends! What is Meditation?

Meditation is being with our own self, loving our own self, spending time with our own self. As we spend time with our respective spouses, with our kids, with our friends, with our neighbours,… we have ,also, to spend time with ourselves;… that is Meditation.

Everyday we must sit in a corner of our own room. We can sit happily in a chair. We should cross our feet. We should relax ourselves totally. We should close our eyes and clasp our hands and be with our Breath. We should not open our eyes… come what may!

Everybody needs to Meditate for as many times as possible… everyday. Whenever we find time,… whenever there is no other urgent work in our agenda…, Meditation becomes the urgent need of our day-to-day agenda.

The Science of Meditation is so very simple! "When we are with the Breath, the Mind becomes Empty,…" this is the First law of The Science of Meditation.

There are three laws of Physical Motion. And , there are three laws of Thermodynamics. Similarly, there are three laws in The Science of Meditation. The first Law says:

"When we are with the Breath, the Mind becomes Empty."

Breath is not a part of the body; but it is in the body. Breath is not anything material… but it is sufficiently material to concentrate upon! Breath is an incessantly happening thing. Breath does not age! Breath is the ambassador of pure consciousness in the body! Breath is so simple! Breath can be experienced! Breath can be grasped.

We have to attune ourselves to our Breath! When we attune ourselves to the breath, the Mind becomes Empty! This is the First Law, the First Great Law of this Great Science of Meditation.

Meditation is silencing the Mind ! For that… we… begin … with… the… Breath!

We don't begin Meditation with any chanting! Chanting doesn't play any part, doesn't play any role in Meditation! The mouth has to be kept shut! The mouth is a part of this material World, and as such, is of no use in the Science of Meditation! The mouth has no Meditational role whatsoever.

Up above the Mouth, there is the Nose…! And, within the Nose there is the Breath ! That's where Meditation begins! Breath is the Alpha in the Science of Meditation. The Omega in the Science of Meditation is the Third Eye.

Since Meditation is silencing the mind, we can't have any mental image whatsoever to concentrate upon! We have to make the mind a zero ! So, no mental images whatsoever! No visualization exercises! We should not hold onto some spot in our Third Eye area! No mental image! And no sounds in the mouth!

No mantras in the mouth! No mental images in the mind!

The mind has to be with the Breath! That is the bottom-line! If the Mind is not with the Breath, the Mind does not become Empty!

The Mind has to become Empty ! The mind has to lose all its socio-religious mental images,… Hindu images, Christian Images, Muslim Images, Communist Images, Atheistic Images, Theistic Images, Buddhistic Images. The Mind has to be absolutely Empty!

The Second Great Law of Science of Meditation is: "When the Mind is Empty, huge amounts of Cosmic Energy flood into the Body,…into the Physicalness."

The jungle-mind is the barrier!

A jungle-mind doesn't allow cosmic energy to enter into the body-system. When the mind is like a forest, it is a great barrier,… it does not allow any cosmic energy to seep into the body.

The jungle-mind is so very impermeable, solid! However, when the solid mind becomes a liquid mind, or a gaseous mind, there is so much porosity and the mind becomes semi-permeable… and the cosmic energy floods into the body.

The Mind needs to be totally Empty !

The Mind is the separator of the physical energy and the cosmic energy. It is the dividing line between the physical energy and cosmic energy. When the Mind is like a forest, it is like a solid barrier!

A Mind becomes like a semi-permeable membrane only if all thoughts cease. So, to make our solid mind into a liquid mind… with more porosity,… where there are less number of thoughts, and more gaps… that is Meditation ! And, the way is only through Breath!

All of us understand thoroughly about the osmotic pressure in the root system. The Nutrients from the outside enter the root system of every plant because the tip of the root is semi-permeable. The same thing happens when the mind is in Meditation. The Mind becomes semi-permeable. The solid barrier becomes a porous one, and huge amounts of cosmic energy naturally flood into the physical body.

The Third Great Law of the Science of Meditation says "When sufficient amounts of Cosmic Energy enter the Physical Body… and the Physical body gets saturated with the cosmic energy… the result is the Third Eye."

The final Result in Meditation is the Activation of our Inner Senses. The Final result is Activating our Extra Sensory Perception! The Final Result is Activating our Soul consciousness ! The Final Result is Acquiring the Soul.

In the case of a normal man, the Soul has lost the Soul! The Paradise has been lost ; the Paradise has to be regained ! The Soul is the Paradise !

The Physical Body should become saturated with Cosmic Energy! When the body is saturated with Cosmic Energy, the Soul's Potential becomes, gradually Kinetic! Otherwise, The potential remains just a potential… a dry potential.

The Soul has Infinite Potential ! And, Infinite Capacity! However, all that is dry potential as long as we don't awaken our Meditation!

All the body-mind entities have to become body-mind-soul entities! That is where The Science of Meditation chips in!

The Science of Meditation is The Mother of all the other Sciences.

The Science of Meditation is the Science of Health! The Science of Meditation is the Science of Joy! The Science of Meditation is the Science of Energy Maximization!

The Science of Meditation is the only Unifying Science. It unifies all the various divided sects of humanity.

" POWER OF THOUGHT "

My dear Friends ! My dear Masters ! And, my dear Gods of India and the World !

Today, we are focusing upon the most important theme in the subject of Spiritual Science,... the Power of Thought... which is the Science of True Happiness of a Human Being.

My dear friends, we are all thought beings. Every being is a thought-being. Every being is an energy-being. Every being is a knowledge-being.

We are all specific specks of energy, consciousness, and knowledge. Consciousness expresses itself... as function,... as thought. The whole nature, the whole creation, is full of an infinite number of beings, who are all energy-thought-knowledge beings.

Every event is a dynamic state. Everything depends upon the knowledge of a particular being,... the energy of a particular being... and the thought quality of that particular being.

Coming to human kingdom, the human beings’ power of thought, play of thought and the role of thought is immense. Human beings must understand this Great Science of Intent and corresponding material effects.

As our intent is... so would be the effect of ourselves on the environment.

Intent is what we think in our mind, what we conclude in our mind ...and the effect is on the environment.

The Law concerning the power of thought is put simply as “ As we think, so it becomes ”, “ As our intent is, so is the manifestation ”. The material manifestation depends upon the inner intent.

Every body’s life is the result solely of one’s own choice patterns. There are no ‘ some other ’ external factors and ‘ external gods ’ sitting up there in the sky ...trying to mould us like mud ! We create our own particular realities ...through our own particular intents, and through our own particular thought patterns.

I hear some music by some person... a desire for music arises in me ...my thought pattern is captured by the desire ...I desire to learn music... I yearn for music... I want to learn music... I go in search of a teacher of music... I do learn... I do practice... and ultimately I become a musician !

You see somebody playing soccer... you want to play it yourself... you seek out that game more and more...the desire gradually becomes strengthened... you have concluded in your mind that you must become a soccer player... you go and join a club... you go daily there... you become a regular member... you practice, and practice... and then, in due course, you become a soccer master yourself !

You have heard about Jesus Christ... your mind gets captured by the whole concept of Jesus Christ... how he lived and what his message was... you too want to become like Jesus Christ... you begin to practice meditation... you go into the small circle of similar meditators... you practice, and practice... you finally become another Jesus Christ !

You become another soccer player,... another musician,... another Christ,... this is the order of the things. Everything,as a beginning, arises in the mind and then manifests itself in the outer. Any manifestation in the outer is a natural result of... that which arises, as an intent, in the mind in the beginning.

Once Gautama Buddha came out of the palace and saw ‘ sorrow ’ everywhere, misery everywhere. A thought sprang in him, “ What is the cause of this misery ? ” His mind was captured by the thought and then he searched. He went to so many persons... all those who were involved in a similar search. He went to many masters and discussed the whole problem, ...learnt whatever he could learn from each and every person concerning the quest. He practiced, and practiced... then he became enlightened. He came to know about the whole Science of Event Formation ! He came to understand about the nature of the power of thought, nature of the power of desire, nature of the power of intent, nature of the law of cause and effect, ...nature of the law of reincarnation. He became a Buddha.

What he set out to become... he did become ! As long as he was in the palace, there was no thought of what he wanted to do. Once he came out of the palace then the new thought pattern began. He thought... he contemplated... he was so stubborn and steadfast... he became a Buddha. If he had faltered in the middle, he could never have become a Buddha.

If I want to become a soccer player, my thoughts should continuously be on the topic of soccer. It behoves upon us to maintain a particular thought stream. We could either continue or we could discontinue, it all depends on how much we desire. If we are fearful, then our power of thought, our power of intent would become weak, then it cannot manifest ! Everybody should remember this point: “ As we think ...so we become ”.

As we intend, as we make a decision, in our mind,... as we conclude in our mind,... so it is going to happen.

If we don’t conclude in our minds,... if we don’t decide in our mind, nothing can ever manifest !

We can also call it as power of decision... power of decisive thinking.

Never any indecisive thinking ! Never any hanky panky thoughts ! Never any haphazard thinking ! Never one step forward and two steps backwards ! Such kinds of thought patterns never lead us anywhere, other than create tremendrous unwanted disturbance in the mind.

We should be absolutely straight and clear in our thought pattern, in our thinking pattern,and in our decision pattern. If we desire something, we should go with the whole of our heart towards it...! Otherwise we should just forget about it. Decisive Thinking alone leads us to become a successful human being.

Success depends upon the power of thought. This has been told by each and every master throughout the ages. There is nothing new about what we are saying here and there is nothing new about what we are hearing.

Jesus Christ spoke the same truth !

Buddha spoke the same truth !

Krishna spoke the same truth !

Mohammed spoke the same truth !

Yet, we are not intrested in getting in touch with the concept; we are not living with the concept; we are not practicing the concept.

We are not able to control our minds. Therefore, we are not able to control our lives ! If we take a few earnest moments to control our minds,... to give a proper shape to our minds,... to give a direction to our minds,... then we would have taken charge of our true life !

Our lives depend upon our minds.

As our mind is ...so is our life. Our life is the sum total of whatever we have intended; and whatever we are intending...!

Every thing depends solely and absolutely on how our mind is ! We have to understand the law that the outer is created in the inner. The inner manifests itself through the purity of intent, through the purity of thought, as the outer. Then we become masters,... truly creating meaning in our life, truly creating beauty in our life.

My dear friends, we are all creators of our own selves and as we do think, so do we become. We have not been created by somebody else. We have created our own self.

We took birth because we wanted to be born in this particular body... in this particular time ...to this particular parents.

When we were citizens in causal worlds we decided, “ Yes ! This is the time to be born ! This is the time to go to the physical earth...! This is the time to physicalize myself. This is the time to understand new lessons ! ...This is the time to under-go new experiences in another physical life...! ”

We choose among several parents, among the several potential parents most sutable to us. We choose,... we intend,... we make decisions ! If we have not decided to be born, we would not be here !

Nobody comes here... onto the earth... into a mother’s womb... without a decision. We decided, therefore, we were born ! We selected our particular parents, therefore we are with our particular family.

We cannot blame our parents because we ourselves chose ! We intend... and that’s what we are going to encounter. The kind of life we want to lead at any given moment depends upon our choice, our stream of thinking. “ As we think, so it becomes ! ”

If we want to become a doctor, we become a doctor !

If we want to become a master, we become a master !

If we want to become a soccer player, we become a soccer player !

The most important thing that we must understand about is the strength of our thoughts. The strength of our intentions..., and the choice of our intentions... should be perfect and unwavering.

As we think, so we become ! As we intend, as we decide, so it is going to become.

If we do not decide, it is not going to manifest !

If we do not intend, it is not going to occur !

As we intend,... as we decide,... as we crave for it, as we crave desperately... that is how it is going to become. We are allcreators of our own particular life-destinies, our own particular life-realities.

Who is going to hammer this truth into our minds ? We ! We ! We ! We alone have to hammer this truth into our minds.

We ourselves have to do that ! No body else can do it for us ! Gods will not do ! Gods will not help !

We have to keep remembering again and again... and again and again... the fact that... we create our own realities. We fall by our own selves. We rise by our own selves. We rise through the strength of our thought, or we fall through lack of strength in our thoughts.

We rise through the strength of our powerful intents. Or, we fall through the weakness of our intents. We move ahead through our unwavering decisions, or we lag behind through our wavering decisions.

The whole of America decided that man will land on the moon... by a specific time schedule ...and they did it. That is power of thought !

Can you imagine a man landing on the moon ? !

Can you imagine a man climbing up the Everest ? !

Can you imagine a man crossing the whole of Atlantic in a small boat ? !

How did that particular man make it happen ?! How did that particular man manage so ? !

One single man was responsible for second World War. How did he manage such power of intent ? ! How could he whip up the passions of a whole nation ? !

That is the power of thought ! As we think... so it becomes ! As we intend... so it becomes ! As we decide... so it becomes ! There are Four Types of Thinking Patterns :

  • Disastrous thinking
  • Negative thinking
  • Positive thinking
  • Miraculous thinking

These are the four basic thinking patterns existing in human mind.

Disastrous thinking :

Suppose our thinking is always disastrous,... for example, for the first time we are going by a bike, or by a car, ...whatever it may be... if we are entertaining a type of thought... “ I am going to have an accident... that is certain...”, ...with that kind of a bent of mind, if we go into the driving act, we are certain to land in an accident !

“ This is the first time I am driving in a traffic,... I am supposed to fall, I will definitely fall,... it is going to happen ”, that kind of thinking is called disastrous thinking !

We have to understand that we are not supposed to fall whatever ! We are not supposed to have an accident whatever ! Nothing is pre-supposed ! We created that particular disastrous reality, through our disastrous thinking.

We have been told, that everybody ‘ will have ’ failures in the beginning ! Our parents have told us so ! We have been mesmerised, ...we have been hypnotized,... into thinking about disasters always. Therefore, disasters are happening everywhere for everybody !

Disasters are not ‘ destined ’ by any God ! They have been created by our own selves ...through the power of disastrous thinking.

So my dear friends, we should train ourselves,... we should train our children, ...we should train our friends into this knowledge that “ Never entertain disastrous thoughts in the mind ”.

As soon as a disastrous thought arises in the mind,... it should be snubbed off, it should be wiped off immediately ! We should constantly sweep our minds off of all the disastrous thoughts. All disasters are happening solely because of disastrous thinking.

Negative thinking :

“ Oh ! It may not happen like that. I may not pass in first class,... I may not reach my target,... I may or may not ”. That kind of thinking pattern is called as negative thinking.

“ I am writing my exams, I may pass or I may fail ! ”

If the type of thinking is ‘ negative thinking ’, then there is half a chance of passing. So, negative thinking... to that extent... is more elevated compared to disastrous thinking ! What happens now ? He just will fall one mark short of passing... since he himself concluded that he may pass or he may fail ! Now, he will be on the border line ! Who created him on the border line ? He himself ! It’s all his negative thinking pattern... as he thought so he became.

Thought is the most powerful thing and disastrous thoughts are disastrously powerful, negative thoughts are negatively powerful !

Disastrous thoughts breed disasters. Negative thoughts breed failures. Disastrous thoughts attract disasters, accidents... and negative thoughts attract failures.

Positive thinking :

“ Yeah ! I am going to pass. Yeah ! I am going to succeed . This may be the first time I am driving the vehicle, in the traffic... so what...? I will come back safely ! There is absolutely no problem in that ! ”
Such a kind of thinking pattern is what one should always adopt. This is called as positive thinking.

“ Yeah ! I am going to sit in meditation. I will definitely control my mind, no problem whatsoever ! ”

These are all great examples of positive thinking. We should practice Positive Thinking as we practice Music, as we practice Soccer !

“ No, no ! ...It is so difficult to control the mind. ”

When you use the word ‘ so difficult ’... that is negative thinking.

“ It is absolutely very difficult to control the mind; it is rather impossible ! ”

When you use the word ‘ impossible ’... that is disastrous thinking.

“ To control mind is impossible ! Why should I try at all ? ” ...What kind of a statement is that ? That is typical disastrous thinking !

“ No ! I will try...! I may succeed in meditation... or may not succeed in meditation. Let us see, let us try, either way it is okay...! ”

“ This way or that way,... it may be pass or it may be failure.”

These are typical examples of negative thinking.

With negative thinking we are definitely going to fail... that is decided. Results are decided before hand by the type of intent patterns.

All results are decided before hand, in our mind. If we are entertaining a disastrous type of thinking, disasters get, of course, manifested.

If we are entertaining positive thinking, successes are there for sure !

One step forward and two steps backward... that is the nature of negative thinking. Positive thinking demands only moving forwards and never going backwards in our mind ! That is the only thing that is going to create success.

Miraculous thinking :

The fourth type of thinking pattern is the highest my dear friends,... that is miraculous thinking !

“ Wow ! I will open my third eye in my meditation ! Nature will see to it that I will open my third eye ! ”

Well...that is miraculous thinking !

“ OK ! It is the first time I am driving in the traffic,... so what ? I will touch the down-town and come back within fifteen minutes...! ”

You go and then come back within fifteen minutes or say twenty minutes... that is miraculous thinking ! You have absolute confidence in yourself ! That is creating a miracle, that is miraculous thinking !

Jesus Christ said, “ Whatever I have achieved you too can achieve; and far greater things...! ” See how he spoke ! A Grand Master always lives in miraculous thinking. Therefore, he creates miracles ! Are you willing to entertain the same kind of miraculous thoughts ?

All the great grand masters this world has seen,... they all went much beyond mere positive thinking. They were Masters of Miraculous Thinking !

In the ancient ‘ puranas ’ of Hinduism, you will encounter many persons who decided that they will never die ! And they could achieve whatever they wanted to ! They did achieve physical immortality !

You want to live with the same physical body for 10,000 years... yeah... you can achieve it ! You achieve it through the mechanism of miraculous thinking.

“ Human body can live upto only fifty or sixty or seventy years... ! ” Who told you ? You are telling it yourself. You have hypnotized yourself. You let the ordinary world hypnotize you into thinking that three scores plus ten... that is seventy years,... that is the average span of life.

Everybody dies because of their own self, because they think that they have to die, that, of course, is disastrous thinking !

The whole humanity believes in disastrous thinking. They got to die, they should die. It is a grand example of disastrous thinking.

You don’t have to die ...unless you want to die. So, never entertain thoughts of death, my dear friends. Then you will have to die ! As you think, so it becomes !

You can become physically immortal... if only you can sustain, and maintain the stream of your miraculous thought !

Let us recap again,... there are four types of thinking patterns.

The first one is disastrous thinking; second one is negative thinking; third one is positive thinking... and the fourth one, the best one, the highest one... is miraculous thinking.

At any given time, you put yourself into one of these four compartments, either in disastrous thinking, or in the negative thinking, or in the positive thinking, or in the great miraculous thinking.

As you choose vegetables in the market you choose thinking patterns ...and you have to cook the same and eat it ! Whatever vegetable you buy in the market,... that’s what you are going to cook and that’s what you are going to eat !

We cannot buy one vegetable in the market and cook another vegetable in the kitchen. And we cannot cook one vegetable in the kitchen and have another vegetable on the dining table ! Whatever we are going to purchase in the market that’s what we are going to have on the dining table !

Don’t purchase disastrous thinking; don’t purchase negative thinking; don’t purchase even positive thinking ! Purchase... only miraculous thinking... in the market ! Then, you cook that in your home... and that’s what is going to be eaten by you !

Whenever we go to hear a lecture by a Jesus, or by a Buddha, or by a Zoraster,... a sermon by a Hermis, or by a Krishna,... you know what vegetables they are going to sell to you ? Only vegetables of miraculous thinking ! They don’t sell vegetables of disastrous thinking, vegetables of negative thinking, vegetables of positive thinking,... they are not available with them. Only vegetables of miraculous thinking... that’s a master ! That is what he sells,... that is what he markets !

Jesus Christ said... “ Whatsoever I have achieved, you too can achieve... and far greater things ! ”

“ Even if you have faith ...the size of a mustard seed, you can overturn the mountains ! ”

Such statements indicate miraculous thinking. We should practice miraculous thinking, my dear friends ! As we perfect music, as we perfect soccer, so do we have to perfect miraculous thinking !

Twenty or thirty years back I personally decided that “ I should bring change in the whole world ! I should teach the whole world about the Science of Meditation, the Science of Happy Living ”.

And, what happened in my life ? Whatsoever I decided, whatsoever I concluded, that began manifesting itself !

Now lakhs of people have become meditators ! Lakhs have freed themselves of all doctors,... of all medicines ! Lakhs have activated their third eyes ! Lakhs have seen their own past-lives !

All this... because of one persons’ power of thought, one persons’ power of intent, one persons’ miraculous thinking !

There is no ‘ outside ’ god ! The power of thought is the power of god.

We are the creators of our thoughts ! We are the producers of our thoughts ! We are the directors of our thoughts !

And, we ourselves are the witness of the power of our thoughts, the power of our intents. We alone reap the results of our intent patterns.

Nobody else directs our thoughts ! Nobody else produces our thoughts ! Nobody else is going to listen to our thoughts !

We have to produce... our thoughts,... and we have to direct our thoughts... and we reap the results of our thoughts. Nobody else cares for us ! We got to care for ourselves ! We should take care of ourselves !

No Jesus Christ, no Krishna, no Rama or any body, anywhere ...cares for you ! Nobody cares for nobody else ! Everybody has to take care of their own wonderful self through their own miraculous thinking !

Nobody saves us ! Nobody is our saviour ! We got to save ourselves from our own disastrous thinking,... from our own negative thinking,... !

We even have to rise much, much above positive thinking. We must go into the arena of miraculous thinking. That’s how we are going to achieve whatever we really want to achieve.

So, my dear friends, my dear masters, my dear gods and my dear creators of the whole world ! Our world is our mind...! Our mind is our world...!

We create our own life through our own thoughts !

Anapana Sati: Meditation on Breathing

Homage to the Blessed One, Accomplished and Fully Enlightened

Anapana sati, the meditation on in-and-out breathing, is the first subject of meditation expounded by the Buddha in the Maha Satipatthana Sutta, the Great Discourse on the Foundations of Mindfulness. The Buddha laid special stress on this meditation, for it is the gateway to enlightenment and Nibbana adopted by all the Buddhas of the past as the very basis for their attainment of Buddhahood. When the Blessed One sat at the foot of the Bodhi Tree and resolved not to rise until he had reached enlightenment, he took up anapana sati as his subject of meditation. On the basis of this, he attained the four jhanas, recollected his previous lives, fathomed the nature of samsara, aroused the succession of great insight knowledges, and at dawn, while 100,000 world systems trembled, he attained the limitless wisdom of a Fully Enlightened Buddha.

Let us then offer our veneration to the Blessed One, who became a peerless world-transcending Buddha through this meditation of anapana sati. May we comprehend this subject of meditation fully, with wisdom resplendent like the sun and moon. Through its power may we attain the blissful peace of Nibbana.
